Mercedes-Benz GLE Facelift: Subtle Changes, Significant Updates
Mercedes-Benz is all set to introduce the facelifted GLE to the Indian market on November 2. While the exterior receives subtle styling enhancements, the real excitement lies beneath the surface. The headlamp units have been redesigned with fresh lighting signatures, and the bumpers have undergone tweaks. These updates include a 2-liter diesel engine producing 269 hp and 550 Nm, a 3-liter diesel engine generating 367 hp and 750 Nm, and a 3-liter petrol engine delivering 381 hp and 500 Nm. Thanks to the integrated starter generator, you can enjoy a 20 hp power boost and a 200 Nm torque boost.

Mercedes-AMG C 43: The Sporty Return
Accompanying the GLE facelift is the sporty Mercedes-AMG C 43, making a comeback in the Indian market. Based on the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the C 43 receives various enhancements, both inside and out, to infuse speed and performance into the otherwise luxurious sedan. The exterior showcases a standard Panamericana grille, larger air intakes, beefier side sills, 18-inch alloys, and an aggressive diffuser complete with a quad exhaust setup. Under the hood, a new 2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, equipped with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, boasts 402 hp of maximum power and 500 Nm of peak torque.

Lexus LM: Luxury Redefined
The Lexus LM, a luxury MPV, is ready to make its mark in the Indian market. Bookings opened in August for this opulent people mover, which shares its platform with the Toyota Vellfire. The LM presents a grand design with a prominent Lexus grille, sleek headlamps, and vertical fog lamp slats. However, it’s what’s inside that truly defines luxury. Available in both seven-seater and four-seater configurations, the LM offers an unparalleled experience. Under the hood, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol hybrid engine produces 250 hp and 239 Nm.

Tata Punch EV: Electrifying Anticipation
The Tata Punch EV, spotted testing numerous times over the past weeks, is poised for launch. Although details are somewhat concealed due to camouflage, the EV is expected to closely resemble its ICE counterpart with some EV-specific touches. Spy shots reveal a reprofiled LED DRL, akin to the Tata Curvv, new alloy rims, and a 10-inch infotainment screen. The Punch EV is anticipated to offer two battery options: a 19.2 kWh pack with a 250 km range and a larger 24 kWh pack with a 315 km range. Recent rumors even suggest a range of over 500 km, surpassing the long-range variant of the Nexon EV, which offers around 465 km on a single charge.

Skoda Superb: A Sneak Peek into the Future
While this may not be a part of India’s festive celebrations, it’s an exciting announcement nevertheless. Skoda is ready to unveil the 2024 Skoda Superb to the world in November. Although specifics are limited, Skoda has released design sketches of both the exterior and interior, providing a glimpse of what’s to come. The exterior features significant styling changes, following the brand’s Modern Solid design language. The iconic Skoda grille remains, accompanied by more slender headlamps with new LED DRL elements. Inside, expect a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, customizable rotary dials or ‘Smart Dials,’ and a new three-spoke steering wheel. 

November is poised to be a remarkable month in the world of automobiles, and these five cars represent the anticipation and excitement that lie ahead. As they make their way into the Indian market, they will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark, setting new standards for luxury, performance, and electric mobility.
